This Original TEST PRINT poster belonged to Frank Westlake owner of the legendary Bindweed Press in San Francisco!

The FD 16 is one of the most popular concert posters ever created by two of the most legendary artists of all time Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. Here the duo’s take on another icon of popular culture. Just 1000 posters were originally produced. Very few have survived in this state of preservation and demand far outstrips the available supply.

This piece is unique because it's a red ink run TEST PRINT that belonged to Frank Westlake owner of the legendary Bindweed Press in San Francisco! This is one of just a handful 9.0 or higher examples of FD-16-OP-1 to appear at public auction with CGC grading. We sold a 9.6 graded example that was signed for $4899 on 1/18/17.
