This Steve Miller Band handbill also features blues master Freddie (spelled Freddy on the handbill) King's first concert at the Vulcan Gas Company. Material for the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin Texas is some of the most desirable and valuable in the entire genre of Psychedelic Concert art. Very few of these unique and fragile handbills remain available today in ANY condition. Underground comix writer Jim Franklin created “Armadillo Comics” and is best known for his poster art produced for the historic Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin. This is the FIRST CGC graded example of this original Vulcan Gas Company handbill to appear in our auction!
